Katherine Sawyer, interviewed by her granddaughter Kelsie Gonzalez, testified in the Brown v Board trial as a young girl. She was the only child called to testify. 
Patrick Woods, the first African American president of the USD 501 school board, interviewed his mentor, Richard Ridley. Ridley played basketball for the Topeka High Ramblers, a segregated African American high school team.
Beryl New, who was interviewed by her granddaughter DaJaia James, talks about being a student of color in the desegregated environment after Brown v Board. 
Jack Alexander interviewed Darlene Jackson, who attended a segregated junior high in Topeka, Kansas. She was a cheerleader for the Topeka Ramblers, a segregated African American basketball team.
Carol Christensen interviewed her daughter Susan Christensen. Susan shared about her experiences as a student and a teacher in light of Brown v Board of Education.
