Transformation: ONE RELATIONSHIP AT A TIME
At the core of Mosaic Partner Pairs lies the belief that forging meaningful connections between individuals who may differ in appearance, worship, or familial and communal ties is crucial for fostering comprehensive community health and prosperity. In Topeka, our aim is to embrace diversity in all its forms – be it race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, ability, age, geographic location, or economic background. We recognize that inclusivity across these spectrums enriches our community fabric, allowing everyone to contribute to and benefit from its vibrancy and resilience.
A Mosaic Experience: We share our hearts and perspectives without fear of judgment. Though I felt I was fairly knowledgeable about blatant and subtle racism, its impact on my brothers and sisters of different races, and their perspectives, my discussions with Brandi and my small group have helped me expand my understanding, broadened my social justice network, and given me information that I can share with others to educate and enlighten them. I also have additional ideas of things I can do to help bring about more positive social change. -Carol Read about Brandi and Carol's Mosaic experience!
